Erica Lee Bigelow

 

Erica Lee Bigelow is a Manhattan based actress, singer, and model known for her vivacious, firecracker energy, unyieldingly optimistic attitude, and immense love of life.

 

Growing up in the Midwest, Erica was introduced to music at a young age by her two very scientific, analytical parents, who tried to expose her to as many after school activities as possible. Piano soon stuck, as did choir and tap dancing, and by the time she auditioned for Enchanted Sleeping Beauty in the fourth grade, she was hooked. (Spoiler alert, she got cast as the princess even though she desperately wanted to play the witch.)

 

In 10th grade, Erica knew she wanted to take the next step, and auditioned for Interlochen Arts Academy, a small but renowned arts boarding school in Northern Michigan. She was accepted, and studied music and opera for two unforgettable years, before going off to college at New York University where she graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance: Musical Theatre.

 

At age nineteen, Erica made her professional debut in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at Key West’s Red Barn Theatre. Since then, she has kept a very busy schedule, living and performing all over the USA (NY, KS, IL, CT, FL, MI, NC, MA...so far!) and she looks forward to the experiences and roles that lie ahead for her.

 

Known amongst castmates and colleagues for her engaging, illustrative storytelling, crazy life anecdotes, and unquenchable thirst for adventure, Erica loves getting to use her cheerful, quirky attitude to bring characters to life onstage and make audiences laugh.

When she isn’t working, you’re most likely to find Erica journaling, reading, roller skating, practicing or creating a vision board and getting ready to tackle her next goal. Seriously, she can’t sit still.
